Warning Lights & Engine Management
Warning lights are your vehicle's way of telling you something needs attention. Don't ignore them — early diagnosis prevents costly repairs.
Engine Management Light / Check Engine Light
One of the most common reasons customers call us. We use specialist Land Rover diagnostic equipment to read fault codes and identify the exact cause — from a faulty sensor to a more serious engine issue.
ABS Warning Light
ABS faults can affect braking safety. We diagnose ABS sensor failures, pump faults and control module issues on all Land Rover and Range Rover models.
Land Rover Suspension Warning Light
Particularly common on Range Rover and Discovery models with air suspension. We diagnose and repair air compressor faults, air bag failures and height sensor issues.
DPF Warning Light
Diesel Particulate Filter problems are common on modern Land Rovers. We diagnose DPF blockages, carry out forced regeneration and advise on replacement where necessary.
Land Rover & Range Rover Specific Faults
These are the faults our customers search for most. If you recognise any of these symptoms, call us for expert advice.
Range Rover Air Suspension Fault
Air suspension faults are one of the most common Range Rover problems. Symptoms include the vehicle sitting low, a compressor that runs constantly, or a suspension warning light. We repair all Range Rover air suspension systems.
Land Rover Suspension Fault
Discovery and Defender suspension problems including worn shock absorbers, broken springs, ball joint wear and steering rack faults. We carry out full suspension inspections and repairs.
Range Rover Battery Drain
Parasitic battery drain is a known issue on many Range Rover models. We carry out full electrical system diagnosis to identify the cause and resolve the fault.
Freelander Haldex Problems
The Haldex coupling on Freelander 2 requires regular servicing. Neglected Haldex units cause 4WD failure and expensive drivetrain damage. We carry out Haldex oil changes and full Haldex repairs.
Discovery Sport DPF Issues
DPF problems are common on the Discovery Sport 2.0 TD4. We diagnose and resolve DPF faults, carry out forced regeneration and advise on driving patterns to prevent recurrence.
Evoque Timing Chain Problems
The Range Rover Evoque 2.0 Si4 petrol engine is known for timing chain stretch. Early symptoms include a rattling noise on cold start. We diagnose and replace timing chains before catastrophic engine failure occurs.
Defender Clutch Replacement
Defender clutch wear is a common issue, particularly on high-mileage vehicles used off-road. We carry out clutch replacement on all Defender models using quality parts.
Land Rover Gearbox Problems
Gearbox faults including slipping, jumping out of gear, noisy operation and complete failure. We repair and recondition Land Rover and Range Rover gearboxes.
General Vehicle Faults
We also service and repair all makes and models. These are common faults we diagnose and fix every day.
Car Won't Start
From a flat battery to a failed starter motor or fuel pump, we diagnose and fix the cause quickly. Call us and we'll advise on the best course of action.
Car Overheating
Overheating can cause serious engine damage if ignored. Common causes include a failed thermostat, coolant leak, blocked radiator or head gasket failure. We diagnose and repair all cooling system faults.
Suspension Knocking Noise
Knocking or clunking from the suspension is usually caused by worn ball joints, drop links, shock absorbers or anti-roll bar bushes. We carry out a full suspension inspection and repair.
Turbo Repair
Turbo faults cause loss of power, excessive smoke and increased fuel consumption. We diagnose turbo faults and carry out turbo repairs and replacements on all Land Rover, Range Rover and 4x4 vehicles.
